The Benton Business Incubator was funded through grants or other monies from the U.S. Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration, U.S. Department of Agriculture, Rural Development, Village of Benton, and Benton State Bank.

The purpose of the Benton Business Incubator is to assist small and mid-sized businesses during start-up and early growth stages by providing space and shared services along with financial and technical assistance. Tenants may belong to different types of businesses including research and development, assembly and light manufacturing, professional services, and production and advanced technology.
